Magneto bearings and deep groove ball bearings have identical inner rings. Magneto bearings, however, have only one outer ring shoulder and can therefore be taken apart. The circular profile of the outer ring raceway merges smoothly at its apex into a straight profile. The inner and outer rings may be mounted separately, which is of advantage in batch mounting. Are available with bore diameters up to 25 mm.
